Community Craft Cafe

Our Community Craft Café is volunteer led and provides positive and meaningful activities for volunteers and young people with learning disabilities on work placements.

Supported by our Volunteer Co-ordinator our volunteers and placements tend to attend one day per week to help with a variety of tasks which helps develop their work-based skills, forge meaningful friendships and increase their self-esteem and confidence

Scrap Craft Collective

Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday our Community Craft Café opens to adult crafters and makers from across the city.

Anyone can just drop in with their project and mingle with other makers. We supply lovely cakes and drinks.

Come and share ideas and find inspiration and materials galore in the wonderful ScrapStore. Makers and craft groups are invited to use our space for free for regular meet ups.

Alongside the weekly drop in sessions there is a Monthly Make, these are light touch, workshops led by our in-house Volunteer Co-ordinator and are promoted through our social media and in store.

Booking for the Monthly Make sessions is essential, email scrapcraftcafe@gmail.com or phone us 0113 3452627 to secure a space.

Check out our in house whats on board or on our social media pages for updates.
